Bye Bye Cold Hands

Last night I ate a lot of mooncakes (calories) and had lot of hot tea. But still, it was so chilly that I had to heat up my hand warmers and brought them to bed with me!

My hands and feet are always ice cold, so these little hand warmers are like my life savers. If you're like me, who can't fall asleep with cold hands and feet, try these eco friendly pocket hand warmers! I like them better than turning on the heat because the heater made the air so dry and the electric bill scared me T^T

They make the perfect fall/winter gifts for your loved ones too. I made some for my family and friends last year and they love them^^ They are such a soft + cute gift idea. DIY some yourself this year! If you don't have time or don't know how, I can do the labor work for you! Visit my store here.

Mid-Autumn Festival

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! I like to call it the Mooncake Day better, or the Bunny Day lol. It is a traditional for family to gather and celebrate with mooncakes, fruits, and hot tea. Children play candles and lanterns with neighbors while the adults gaze at the full moon, enjoy the foods and chat.

Traditional paper lanterns with candles. This kind is rare to find in Hong Kong nowaday. There are also electronic ones which made of plastic and LED; safer and more styles to choose from, though I adore the paper ones better XD

A giant bunny lantern built of lego!

A mooncake drawing done by me^^

哥哥知我鐘意食月餅, 一向節儉的他居然買了盒美心過節!! 十.級.感.動!!
祝大家中秋節快樂~

A Little Surprise!

My friend sent me a little surprise! It is a Japanese style bunny cell phone dust-plug with a letter on cute designed papers >w< It is rare to receive hand written letter nowaday. It has been more than half year since I last saw my friends, and it means a lot to me knowing that they still remember me *tears of joy* I feel loved and spoiled...wahahaha~

Craft Time

After a busy month of work, I finally got to do some crafts and photo shootings of my handmade cuteness. I selected 3 of them to share here. The one above is the newest version of my Bee Flowers. They look better in scale and with the new materials I was able to shorten the process time and thus lower the cost. The white board behind is my new toy, and needless to say, I had so much fun drawing on it :D

I was trying to find something simple, natural and wood related to match my Traffic Light Mushrooms. Then I saw my tissue box, and the whole piece turned out to be colorful and fun.

More felt boxes! They were so much fun to make and served the purpose of bringing art and function together to daily life. Most of my lollipops are with the local stores which I have consignments with, so instead of photo shooting them individually, I grouped them with the felt cake boxes and set up a sugarly scene. Yummm...
